The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NE SHEPERDSWELL & COLDRED CHURCH ROAD (east side) 2/92 Coldred Manor 22.8.62 GV II House. C18 and early C19 rebuilding of C17 or earlier house. Red brick and plain tiled roof, with flint wing to rear left, and tile hung wing to rear right. Two storeys and basement on plinth, in part English bond brick, with brick eaves cornice to hipped roof and returned hip to left. Stacks to end left and clustered and projecting at end right. Two wooden casements to left and 2 glazing bar sashes to right on first floor, with 2 large segmentally headed glazing bar sashes on ground floor and central door of 6 fielded panels with semi-circular fanlight and open pediment on pilasters.
