The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NE SHEPERDSWELL & COLDRED COLDRED ROAD (east side) 2/96 Canterbury Lodge Waldershare Park II Lodge. Early C19. Flint with buff brick quoins and stack, and slate roof. Gothick style veering towards Hindoo. Octagonal block with rectangular wing attached. One storey with central octagonal stack. Cross window on each face with painted ogee-shaped surround with fleur-de-lys finials, with Gothick panelled door to right (roadside face) also in ogee-shaped surround, with 3 bay wooden porch; ogee arches on round piers with flat roof. Single storey rear wing with hipped roof and stack at end left. Ogee-shaped doorway to centre right.
