The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NE SHEPERDSWELL & COLDRED BOTOLPH STREET (West side) 2/88 Wall and piers about 20 metres north-east of St. Siberts Place GV II Wall and piers. C18. Red brick in irregular garden wall bond. Stretch of wall about 60 yards long running S. west along roadside. About 7 feet high, terminated at either end by piers about 10 feet high with stone cornices. Formerly courtyard wall to early C18 mansion of Sibertswold Place, burnt 1921.
