The following text is from the original listed building designation:
MIDDLE DEAL ROAD 1. 1035 (South East Side) Nos 87 and 87A (Berkeley House) TR 35 SE 5/125 1.6.49 II 2. An irregular shaped house, mostly Cl8 in date but perhaps part of it earlier. The east front is the latest part, probably early C19. This has 2 storeys and 3 windows. Red brick. Slate roof with eaves cornice. Venetian shutters to windows.
