The following text is from the original listed building designation:
MIDDLE STREET 1. 1035 (East Side) No 98 TR 3753 SE 2/348 II GV 2. Early C19. 2 storeys and basement yellow brick. Tiled mansard roof with 2 dormers. 1 sash with glazing bars intact. Cambered head linings. Doorcase with moulded architrave and 6 panel door, the top 2 panels cut away and glazed. Adjoining shop has a 1st floor projecting window and corner doorcase. Nos 82 to 96 (even) form a group.
