2. C16 timber framed building with plaster infilling on the 1st floor and curved braces, the ground floor has been rebuilt and painted. Modern shop windows and windows above, one of the south front leaning forward. brickwork over shop front in Market Street. Yellow brick addition at south east end, 2 storey, one box sash in 4 squares. Modern shop front and single similar addition with glazing bars in 12 squares. Tiled roofs. This also forms part of No 2 Market Street.
Nos 1 and 3 with No 2 Market Square form a group.
