The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EASTRY TR 25 SE Barn about 20 7/106 metres north-east of Shingleton Farmhouse GV II
Barn. C16. Timber framed and clad with red brick in Header Bond with corrugated iron roof. Plinth and ventilation slits. Half-hipped roof with 2 raking mid-streys. Interior: 7 bays with aisles and terminal outshots. Passing shores to arcade posts, with eccentric bracing. Roof with clasped purlins and wind braces.
