The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ASH COP STREET TR 26 SE (east side) 2/4 Upper Goldstone Farmhouse 11.10.63 II
House. Mid. C18. Painted brick and plain tiled roof. Two storeys on plinth with plat band and boxed eaves to hipped roof with central stack. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on first floor and 2 on ground floor with segmental heads. Central Boarded door in slate roofed gabled porch. Built soon after the division of Goldstone manor in 1754 (see Hasted, IX, p.193).
