The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ASH PARAMOUR STREET TR 26SE (west side) 2/36 Padbrook (formerly listed as 11.10.63 Ivydene) GV II
House. Dated 1675, extended early C19. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Lobby entry plan. Two storeys and attic on plinth with plat band and hipped roof with hipped dormer and stack to centre left. Three glazing bar sashes on first floor framed by pilaster strips on moulded corbels, and 3 on ground floor with lugged and shouldered surrounds (originally for smaller window than the present sashes). Door of 4 panels to centre left with moulded surround and flat hood. Moulded recess on first floor over door, now glazed. Recessed early C19 wing to left of 2 storeys with slate roof, 1 segmental headed glazing bar sash and boarded door. Dated 1675 on internal brickwork.
