The following text is from the original listed building designation:

No 10 (Gordon House) No 10A (Milton House) TQ 6574 SW 2/14 23.1.52.

2. One house, since subdivided. Circa 1840. 3 storeys and semi-basement brown brick. Parapet and wooden modillion eaves cornice. 5 sashes with glazing bars missing. Venetian shutters to 1st and 2nd floor windows. Iron balcony on 1st floor. No 10 has an Ionic porch up 7 steps with iron handrail. Round-headed doorcase with semi-circular tympanum. One recessed window bay added at the north end with a mid C19 stuccoed porch up 7 steps with iron handrail which is now the entrance to No 10A. (No 9 has a similar balancing porch on the other side).
