Summary
Gravesend County Court was built in 1870 and was designed by the architect Thomas Charles Sorby. Plans for the building are located in the Public Records Office. The building consists of a single storey and the interior of the building contains one court. The building is built of stone ashlar and features stone dressings and a slate covered roof. There is a balustrade with a quatrefoil motif and a triglyph frieze. There are pilasters and decorated spandrels on the doorcases.As of 2012 it is understood that this building is being considered for disposal.
