C.1840 stuccoed. Two storey. Hipped slate roof. Three sash windows. Porch with 2 Doric columns and flat roof.

House. Circa 1840. Stuccoed brick. Hipped slate roof with black ridge tiles and deep eaves with cast-iron ogee gutters. 2 symmetrical rebuilt brick axial stacks. Plan: Double-depth almost square plan with 2 principal rooms at the front the right hand slightly larger and a narrow central entrance hall between with a tight open- well staircase. At the back 2 smaller heated rooms, the left hand room is the kitchen from which rises the back staircase. Between the 2 back rooms a back lobby and staircase to the pantry in the cellar below the front left hand room. Exterior: 2 storeys and cellar. Symmetrical 3-window front with plinth and band at first floor window sill level; moulded stucco window architraves, the first floor with keyblocks, the ground floor with cornices on console brackets and sills with small terminal brackets. C19 sashes with margin panes. Central doorway with C19 flush panel and glazed door, small rectangular overlight, decorated iron grille under the threshold and stuccoed partico with Tuscan columns and massive entablature. The first floor window sill band continues on returns and at rear. The right hand side has 2 C19 sashes on first floor and one on ground floor to right, those on right with 12-panes, that on left with margin panes. Left hand side has C19 12-pane sash on first floor to left and C19 horizontally sliding sash to basement with glazing bars and iron bars. The rear elevation has C19 12-pane sashes, one at centre on first floor and to left and right on ground floor with doorway to right of centre with C19 flush panel door. Interior: Most of the original interior joinery survives including panelled doors and sliding window shutters. Front right hand room has moulded plaster cornice and marble chimneypiece. The front left hand room has similar chimneypiece but ceiling has been replaced. Original open-well open string staircase with stick balusters, moulded mahogany hand-rail wreathed over ornate cast-iron newel. The rear left hand room has large kitchen fireplace with chamfered segmental arch and bracketed shelf - the iron range has been taken out. To the side of the fireplace rises the back staircase. The chimneypiece has been removed from the small rear right hand fireplace. On the first floor the ceilings and chimneypieces in the front rooms have been replaced, but the back rooms have small simple wooden chimneypieces with ornate iron grates. The pantry in the cellar has wooden shelve and a brick floor.
