C17, modified C19. Timber-framed building faced with infilled render on first floor, red brick to ground floor. Clay roofing tiles. Rectangular with roof gabled at both ends. Front of 2 storeys with attic storey above. C19 entrance porch with lean-to tiled roof. Three windows of mixed types to both ground and first floor. Three dormer windows with gabled end tiled roofs. Projection of heavy diagonal beam at south-west corner for jettying to south and west fronts; jettying diminished by brick skin added C19. (See Arch Cant Vol 27, pp 197).
