Description from record TQ 67 SE 97:
[TQ 657 740] Pillar box at the corner of St. John's Road and Norfolk Road. A splendid Victorian pillar box comprising a fluted cast iron column with a projecting top crowned by a flattish conical roof. (1) 1856-60. A fluted pillar box with vertical posting aperture. Conical cap and moulded base. LISTED GRADE II. (2)
