The following text is from the original listed building designation:

2. A mid C19 pair. 4 storeys and basement stuccoed. Parapet and moulded eaves cornice. Cornice below 3rd floor with central pediment to centre 3 windows. 4 sashes and central window space. 4 modified Composite columns, having anthemion motif on the capital, support the centre pediment through 2nd and 1st floors. 1st floor windows are in moulded architraves and have 4 paterae. Ground floor cast iron balcony. The ground floor is part rusticated and has 2 round-headed windows and 1 window space set in arcading with paterae decoration. 2 projecting brick portics with 2 plain Ionic columns each, 2 square Doric columns and 2 Doric pilasters. Steps to street.
Nos 68 to 71 (consec) form a group.
