Farmhouse. Late C15 or early C16 with early C16 wing and late C18 or early C19 facade. Timber framed. Ground floor chequered red and grey brick, first floor weather board. First floor of wing tile-hung. Plain tile roof. Open hall house, of which right end bay and right bay of hall remain. Rear wing to right, of 3 timber-framed bays including rear stack bay. 2 storeys. Right end bay formerly jettied to front and to right. Modillioned wooden eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Central brick ridge stack and rear stack to wing. Regular 2-window front of tripartite sashes. Central door of 6 fielded panels with flat corniced hood. Interior: exposed framing. Moulded and brattished end-of-hall beam. 4-centred arched doorhead. Close studding to rear wall of front range. Rebated principal posts to rear wing. Mortices for diamond mullioned windows.
