Farmhouse, formerly cottages, now house. Early-to-mid C17 with late C18 facade. Timber framed. Ground floor red and grey brick in Flemish bond, first floor weatherboarded. First floor of right (south) gable end and right side of rear wing tile-hung. Plain tile roof. T-plan house, built at right-angles to road. Main range of 3 timber-framed bays formerly subdivided on ground floor into a 2-bay left room and a single-bay right room; central rear wing of one timber-framed bay, with stack bay between it and main range. Late C18 bay at right- angles to left side of wing, infilling angle between it and main range. 2-storeys and garret. Brick plinth. Half-hipped roof to both ends of main range, to rear of wing, and to left gable end of C18 bay. Multiple filleted red and grey brick ridge stack to wing, towards junction with main range. Irregular fenestration of 2 casements; one two-light towards centre and one three-light to right end. Three ground-floor casements with segmental heads. Two-light ovolo-moulded mullion attic windows to rear gable of rear wing. Blocked doorway towards right end of central bay. Lean-to to right side of rear wing, with half-glazed door. Interior: exposed framing, with chamfered beams and shaped jowls. Plain brick fireplaces with wooden bressumers to rear of stack on ground floor and front and rear on first floor. Elliptical fireplace with bressumer to front side of stack on ground floor. Stairs to attic to right of stack. Mortices for six-light diamond mullion attic window to right end of main range. Clasped-purlin roof with diminishing principal rafters, curved windbraces, and vertical queen struts to collars. Formerly known as Church Green.
