5/77 Oasthouse about 180 metres south- west of E.W. Beale (Chemists) Ltd.

Oasthouse. C19. Kiln and ground floor of stowage red brick in Flemish bond, first floor of stowage weatherboarded. Plain tile roofs. Rectangular 2-bay stowage with circular kiln to right end. Stowage 2 storeys, formerly open to front on ground floor. Dentilled brick eaves cornice to kiln. Hipped roof to left end of stowage, conical roof with cowl to kiln. One 12-light centrally-pivoting casement to stowage. Boarded first-floor loading door up external flight of wooden stairs to right end of stowage. Garage doors to left end of ground floor. Interior: lath and hair-plaster to walls. Included for group value.
