House. Late C16 or early C17, with late C18 or early C19 facade and later alterations. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile roof. Probably lobby entry plan of approximately 3 timber-framed bays with further bay added to right in C20. 2 relatively low storeys. Half-hipped roof. Multiple brick ridge stack to left end of former central bay and slender projecting stack to left gable end. Irregular fenestration of 5 small paned casements; one three-light to left, one two-light under stack, and one three-light and two two- light to right of stack. Half-glazed former porch on brick base under stack and half-glazed door. Interior: exposed framing. Gunstock and cut jowls to principal posts. Sans-purlin common-rafter roof. Blocked four-light diamond-mullion rear window. Chamfered axial beams to ground floor. Plain painted brick fireplace with bressumer and niches. Broad floorboards.
