3/174 Barn about 40 metres North-East of Great Pagehurst Place (formerly listed as Barn to NE of Great Pagehurst 22.8.1985 Farmhouse)

Barn. Later C17, with C18 and C19 alterations. Timber framed, weatherboarded, on stone plinth. Plain tile roof. 4 timber-framed bays. Hipped roof. Full-height double doors to front in second timber-framed bay from left, and low double doors to rear. Lean-to to right, with single-storey brick outbuilding adjoining it. Interior: gunstock-jowled posts. Arch-braced tie-beams (some braces missing). Staggered butt-purlin roof with collars, replaced to front of 2 left bays. Small, almost straight tension braces above midrail. Original studding, replaced to front of right bays. Included for group value.
