STAPLEHURST HIGH STREET TQ 7843 (West side)
5/140 Railings about 3 metres east of Vine House
GV II
Railings. Late C18 or early C19. Painted iron, on low stone-coped red brick plinth. Span front elevation of Vine House, curved back away from road towards outer ends of flanking walls of house. Spear-head railings. Newels with urn finials and curved rear supports. Central pedestrian gateway same height and in same style as railings. Similar gateway in front of each flanking doorway.
