Listed Building record TQ 84 NW 26 - Luckhurst, East Sutton

Summary

Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1467 to 1532 Small four bay Wealden house, jettied on the the front and to one side, with a contemporary Oriel window. It is basically a single period building, with a two bay open hall and over hung cross-passage, the chimney and flooring over the hall were added at a later date. The house was probably built circa 1425 and the chimney and flooring inserted circa 1680. The timber framing is infilled with plaster and the roof is of plain tile.
