The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HEADCORN EAST SUTTON ROAD TQ 84 NW (South-East side) 5/47 Little Hearnden 26.4.68 II
House of farmhouse. C15 or early C16. Timber framed with plaster infilling and plain tile roof. Wealden with 2 almost equal-length hall bays and storeyed end bays. 2 storeys. Close-studded. Right and left end bays jettied, jetties returning on moulded dragon posts. Arch braces to flying wall-plate. Hipped roof. Rear stack towards left end and multiple brick ridge stack in right hall bay. Irregular fenestration of three 3-light leaded casements; one to each end bay and one to left hall bay. Mortices for 2-storey bay window to right of left door. Ribbed doors; to left end of hall and to left of right end bay. Interior not inspected.
