HEADCORN HIGH STREET TQ 8344 (South side) 10/81 Rushford Manor 26.4.68 (Formerly listed as The Manor House)
GV II
House. Late C18 or early C19 facade to possibly earlier C18 house. Ground floor red brick in Flemish bond, first floor tile-hung. Rear wall timber framed. Plain tile roof. Lobby entry plan. 2 storeys and attic on stone plinth. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Roof hipped to left, half-hipped to right. Central brick ridge stack. 2 hipped dormers. Regular 3-window front of two tripartite sashes and central 12-pane sash. Tripartite sashes to ground floor. Central C20 ribbed door with segmental head under flat floating hood. Lean-to to left in same materials as facade. Interior: exposed framing. Staggered butt purlin roof with dormers inserted. Re- used timbers.
