ULCOMBE THE STREET TQ 84 NW (east side) 5/193 Chestnut Farmhouse and cottage adjoining to right II
Farmhouse, now 2 houses. C17 or earlier with early C19 alterations. Timber framed. Ground floor clad with painted brick, first floor with painted tile-hanging. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and garret with half-hipped roof. Ridge stack off- centre to right. Irregular fenestration of 4 casements; two 2-light, one 3-light and one 4-light. Narrow brick porch beneath stack now containing window. Lean-to to right. Rear extensions. Interior not inspected.
