Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SUTTON VALENCE HEADCORN ROAD TQ 8049-8149 (east side) 7/132 Belringham GV II
House. Early-to-mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond. Lower 2 storeys of rear elevation chequered red and grey brick. Slate roof. Double depth. Built at right-angles to road. 3 storeys. Narrow rendered plat band between ground floor bays and linking imposts of first floor windows. Flat eaves soffits. Hipped roof. Corbelled brick stack towards each end, each with 6 fluted octagonal flues. Regular 3-window front of recessed round-headed glazing-bar sashes with rubbed brick voussoirs and plain rendered imposts. First-floor windows doubly recessed. 2 later canted bays to ground floor. Central door under porch with Doric columns, triglyphed frieze and flat corniced hood. Interior not inspected.
