The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EAST SUTTON EAST SUTTON ROAD TQ 832 495 (east side) 5/69 Oasthouse at TO 832 495 II
Oasthouse. Mid C19. Kilns and ground floor of stowage chequered red and grey brick. First floor of stowage weatherboarded. Plain tile roof. L-plan stowage with circular kiln to each gable end. Kilns on stone plinth with dentilled brick eaves cornice interrupted by plain full-height pilasters. Ground floor of stowage partly open, with central brick pier and posts on pad- stones, partly infilled with vertical boarding. Cowled conical roofs to kilns. Hatches to first floor of stowage, and 3 boarded first-floor doors. Door to base of each kiln. Later canopy round part of roof of south kiln. Interior not inspected. Corrugated iron addition to south-east not included.
