The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EAST SUTTON MORRY LANE TQ 84 NW (north side) 5/88 Elm Cottage GV II
House. Later C18. Ground floor red brick with occasional grey headers in Flemish bond, first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 timber-framed bays. 2 storeys on stone plinth which continues round lean-to. Half hipped roof. Projecting end stacks. Irregular fenestration of 2 casements; one 2- light, one 3-light. Boarded door under flat bracketted hood to left of centre. Rear lean-to. Short 2-storey rear addition to right.
