Full Description
'A':TQ 8470 4027 (a) Six urns containing bones were found in a railway cutting one mile north of Biddenden c. 1902-4; probably Roman interments (b) Sherds from the site are in store in Maidstone Museum. 'B': TQ 8466 4021 An early I.A. (Belgic) burial. (c) No further information was gained at Ibornden Farm which has been in the Scott family for over 60 years. Nothing relevant was noted when the area was laid down as an orchard 8 years ago. The cutting of the railway, now disused, is grassed over. (1)
