TQ 85 NW HUCKING CHURCH ROAD (south side)
6/153 Hucking Court 26.4.68 Farmhouse and Hucking Court Cottage (formerly listed as GV II Hucking Court)
House. Late C16 or early C17. Timber-framed, ground floor clad in red brick with occasional grey headers in Flemish bond. First floor tile-hung with fishscale tiles. Left gable end chalk lump on ground floor with plain tile-hanging above. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and cellar on plinth, with continuous jetty returning round right gable end with dragon post. Roof hipped both ends. Large projecting red brick stack to right end. 6 tinber-framed bays. Irregular fenestration four 2-light casements. Central ribbed door, possibly a pared-down ecclesiastical door. C19 plank door to left end. Interior: exposed beams and some exposed posts.
