5/108 2 Bee-Boles in garden wall circa 40 yards north-west of Yew Trees House

Pair of bee-boles. Possibly late Cl7 but probably later. Brick, with remains of broad wooden cills, in red brick wall with occasional grey headers in English bond. 2 bee-boles about one foot apart and about 3'6" from ground. Deep recesses about 1'6" high with semi-circular heads, surrounded by bricks projecting about 6" from wall. Evidence for horizontal sloping canopy one brick deep over each.
