Summary

Grade I listed building. Main construction periods 1080 to 1899. Norman church originally used as a chapel of ease for Maidstone. Additions and alterations took place during the 14th century and 15th century. The spire was constructed in 1861 and the north aisle enlarged in 1877. Other alterations also took place throughout the 19th century. The church is constructed of flint and ragstone with a plain tile roof.
