The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 75 NE BOXLEY NEW CUT ROAD (west side)
5/76 Ha-ha in grounds of Vinters, with north end circa 53 yard north-west of east lodge
II
Ha-ha. C18. Small oblong blocks of evenly-cut stone, now uncoped and standing to height of about 5 feet. Top of ditch about 5 feet from top of wall. Runs south for about 205 yards from point about 53 yards north-west of East Lodge, curving gradually towards west. At south end, curves north-west for about 3 yards to form (without ditch) east side of-south-east entrance dirve, dwindling to height of about one foot. Part of Ha-ha which once encircled Vinters.
