HIGH STREET 1. 5278 (South-East Side) Queen Victoria Statue and Drinking Fountain opposite No 98 TQ 7655 NW 2/287 II
2. Circa 1862. The statue of the Queen with crown and sceptre is by John Thomas. It is protected by a shrine-like canopy by Blandford having 4 crockets with granite pillars and supporting 4 angels. Decorative cast iron lamps at each corner. The whole is set on a base of sandstone.
