Full Description
[TQ 80755793] Tumulus [NR] (Site of) [NAT] (1) The site of this barrow falls in the rockery of a large ornamental garden and is not recognisable. The site occupies a minor crest of the southern slopes of the N Downs, well below the summit of the downs. (2) As stated by authority 2, the rockery and landscaping of the garden of Thurnham Keep house has destroyed all traces of the barrow. (3)
