Full Description
[TQ 8063 5785] A late medieval iron arrowhead was found 4 ft. deep in the garden of the "Black Horse" public house near Thurnham Castle. It is now in the Maidstone Museum. (1) The present licensee was unaware of the find and of the circumstances of the discovery. Nothing further has been found to his knowledge. (2)
