TQ 75 NE BOXLEY Grove Green
5/68 Well House
G.V. II
House. C15 or C16. Timber framed with brick ground floor, rendered first floor and plain tile roof. 2 storeys on stone plinth with hipped roof. Possibly has underbuilt jetty at left end, now part of lean-to. Ridge stack off-centre to left and rear stack towards left end. Irregular fenestration of one 2-light casement towards left end and one single-light central window. Ribbed door off-centre to left in four-centred arched architrave with hollow spandrels and hollow-chamfered jambs. Single storey stone lean-to at left end with twisted stone stack at left corner.
