TQ 7444 MARDEN WEST END (north side) 5/134 Westend Cottages
GV II
House row. Early C18, with C20 addition to left. Ground floor painted brick first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Gabled C20 cross-wing projects forwards slightly to left. Right end of main range gabled. Ridge stack to junction of wing and main range, another to right of centre, and projecting brick gable end stack to right. Irregular fenestration to main range of 3 three- light casements. Half-glazed door to No 3 towards left end of main range. Ribbed door with rectangular light under right-central stack to No 2, with half-glazed door adjacent to it to right to No 1. Four short rear wings; C20 to left, two hipped to centre, one gabled to right. Right-central stack dated 1725. Interior not inspected.
