The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SOUTH STREET TQ 75 SW BARMING (East Side) 2/14 No. 31 (Daye House) GV II House. C18. Ground floor painted brick in Flemish bond, first floor rendered. 2 storeys and attic on painted stone plinth. Half-hipped roof. Central rear stack. 2 hipped 2-light dormers. Regular 3-window front of 2-light wooden casements with top lights. Central boarded door with 2-light fanlight and flat bracketed hood. Rear lean-to in same materials. Interior not inspected.
