The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GEORGE STREET TQ 74 NW HUNTON (East Side) 4/76 Martins Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18. Ground floor chequered red and grey brick, first floor timber framed, now with exposed close-studding of thin scantling and 2 tension braces. First floor of right gable end tile-hung. 2 storeys, attic and cellar on high chamfered chequered red and grey brick plinth. Half-hipped roof. Central brick ridge stack. 2 hipped dormers. Irregular fenestration of three 2-light casements. Central panelled door in broad C20 timber-framed porch up 5 brick steps. Rear lean-to and short rear wing towards centre. Interior not inspected.
