Summary
A 16th or 17th century country house, incorporated into a larger house built between 1727 and 1745, altered in the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings, with a tiled roof. The house consists of two stories plus attic. The building is thought to be the inspiration for the setting of the novel "Pride and Predjudice".
