The following text is from the original listed building designation:
WEST STREET TQ 74 NW HUNTON (South Side) 4/104 Durrants 23.5.67 GV II
Farmhouse. C16 or earlier, with late C18 or early C19 facade. Timber framed. Ground floor painted brick in Flemish bond, first floor weatherboarded. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic on painted brick plinth. Weatherboarding slightly lower to left of door. Steeply- pitched hipped roof with gablet to left. Multiple brick ridge stack to left of centre. Small gabled dormer. Irregular fenestration of 4 windows; one 20-pane sash to each end, one 9-light sash to left of stack and one 2-light casement to right of stack. 3 sashes in open boxes to ground floor; two 20-pane and one 9-pane. Ribbed door under stack, in panelled recess with reeded architrave and paterae. Timber-framed rear return wing to right. Rear lean-to to left. Interior not inspected.
