The following text is from the original listed building designation:
WEST STREET TQ 74 NW HUNTON (South-east Side) 4/116 Monument to William Bisset (?) about 7 metres west of south- west buttress of Church of St. Mary GV II Headstone. Early C18. Stone. Scrolled and shaped head, with skull to top. To William (Bisset?), d.1714.
