The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CHURCH STREET TQ 7552 LOOSE (North Side) 6/173 Monument to Joseph Charlton about 9 metres south of south porch of Church of All Saints GV II Chest tomb. Late C18. Stone, on doubly-stepped stone base. Chamfered plinth, corniced lid and fluted side panels. Vault entrance to west. South side to Joseph Charlton, d.1790.
