Full Description
Former site of a Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1700 to 1799. It was destroyed by a fire.
The following text is from the original listed building designation:
WESTERHILL ROAD TQ 75 SW LINTON (blast Side) 2/166 Barn about 60 metres South of Westerhill Farmhouse GV II Barn. C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile roof. 5 timber- framed bays. Rear aisle. Half-hipped roof. Central full-height double doors. Low hipped central porch rising from aisle. Interior: principal posts with cut jowls, and arch braces to tie-beams. Staggered butt purlins below collars. Vertical queen struts to collars and raked queen struts to rafters. Ridge-piece probably inserted.
