GEORGE STREET TQ 74 NW HUNTON (East Side) 4/75 Cart shed adjoining Hemsley Cottage to south-east. 11.11.1975 (Formerly listed as small barn adjoining Hemsley House to south- east GV II
Cart shed. Late C18 or C19. Left gable end wall and rear wall chequered red and grey brick. Left gable weatherboarded above wall. Plain tile roof. Built at right-angles to road. Right gable end abuts a timber-framed barn. Single storey. Front open, with 2 posts towards centre, arch-braced to eaves plate. Roof incorporates re-used medieval rafters and 2 cambered tie-beams. Included for group value.
