The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 75 NE BOXLEY HARP FARM ROAD (west side) 5/71 Barn approximately 7 yards north east of Harp Farmhouse

Barn. Dated 1806. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with slate roof. 5 bays with double doors to centre bay to front and no opening to rear. Rear aisle. Small half hip to either end of roof. Interior: wall studs virtually unaltered, thin straight tension braces, original braces to tie-beams and arcade plate. Roof with queen struts to collars and very deeply staggered butt side purlins, with ridge piece. All members pegged, and finished. Dated L.R. on jowl of rear arcade post to central 1806 1.H. B bay. Listed for group value.
