The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HARRIETSHAM TQ 85 SE 4/12 Headstone Body Stone and footstone to Martha Knight circa 18 yards south of west tower of church of St. John the Baptist GV II Headstone, body stone and footstone. Mid C18. Top of headstone carved with leaves, scrolls and 2 cherub's heads. To Martha Knight, died 1761. Footstone inscribed MK 1761, with 1810 superimposed.
