Cottage row. Early C18. Chequered red and grey brick with right end refaced in red brick. Left gable end tile-hung on first floor. Plain tiled roof. 2 storeys with projecting red brick stack to left end. Irregular fenestration of twice 2-light case- ments. Ground-floor windows have segment heads. Plain doors with segment heads, No. 28 off-centre to left and No. 26 towards right end. Rear lean-to with stone walls and plain tiled roof. Listed for group value.
