Monument record TQ 85 SW 7 - Anglo Saxon burials, Leeds, Maidstone

Summary

Two Anglo-Saxon inhumations found in 1910 with grave goods including a spearhead and a `shoe-shaped stud'. The finds are in Maidstone Museum. NGR places site at entrance to a disused gravel pit, on the north-north-east facing slope, just above a stream. OD approx. 50m.
